Ash and Ember

A poetic and political portrait of a working-class suburb in transformation, "De Cendres et de Braises" invites us to listen to the words of the inhabitants of the housing estates of Les Mureaux, near the Renault-Flins factory. Whether soft, rebellious or sung, at the foot of the towers of the housing estate, at the entrance to the factory or next to a fire, these words take us through the night until a new day dawns on other possible futures.
